2-1-1 Texas Permian Basin is a local information and referral service to assist individuals, families, job seekers, and businesses to find needed resources to help with a variety of issues and concerns. Callers can get information and referrals to agencies that can help with rehabilitation services, child care, services for the elderly, housing, health care, employment, transportation, services for veterans, victim services, etc. 2-1-1 Texas Permian Basin is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week and covers all 17 counties in the Permian Basin region. Request for Proposals (RFP) for a qualified auditing firm

The Permian Basin Workforce Board is releasing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a qualified auditing firm to conduct the Board’s annual single agency audit according to generally accepted auditing standards; the standards set forth for financial audits in the U.S. General Accounting Office’s Government Auditing Standards; the provisions of the federal Single Audit Act, as amended; and Title 2 U.S. CFR Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards.

Permian Basin Workforce Board is the grant recipient and fiscal agent of federal workforce development and federal child care and development funds for the 17-counties in the Permian Basin. The details of the federal funds associated with the single agency are as follows:
• 96.3% of the audit will be financed with Federal funds;
• The total amount of Federal funds to be audited is $16,526,557; and
• The percentage and dollar amount of non-governmental sources is 0.02% and $3,000.
The balance of Permian Basin Workforce Board’s financing is from state funding.
